  • Payment details: Payments are processed through third parties such as Apple. Discovr does not store full credit card or payment information.

Information Collected Automatically

We automatically collect certain data to ensure functionality and improve performance:

  • Device information: Model, operating system, IP address, language settings, and time zone.

  • Usage data: Feature interactions, time spent in modules, and activity frequency.

  • Cookies and identifiers: Used for analytics, personalization, and performance improvements.

4. AI Features (Kairo – AI Therapist)

Discovr includes an AI feature called Kairo, which provides guided self-improvement and mental health support.
We partner with OpenAI to power this feature.

When you use Kairo:

  • Chat metadata (not content) may be analyzed for product insights.

  • OpenAI may temporarily process your chat data to deliver responses and retain it for up to 30 days for abuse monitoring.

  • OpenAI does not use Discovr chat data to train its models.

  • All communication is encrypted in transit.

Your reflective conversations remain private and confidential.

5. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)

For users in the European Economic Area (EEA) or the United Kingdom, we process data under the following bases:

  • Consent: For marketing or personalized insights.

  • Performance of contract: To provide the App’s core features.

  • Legitimate interests: To improve the App and ensure security.

  • Legal obligation: To comply with applicable laws.

14. Do Not Track Signals

Our App does not currently respond to “Do Not Track” browser settings. Third-party services may follow their own policies regarding these signals.
